OUR GRASS RACING SYSTEM

Through dedicated laboratory research and extensive field testing, Grassman has produced the all-weather Racing System. This is a unique synthetic surface made from a modular, energy absorbing rubber underlay, covered by a 40mm or 70mm, double locked, tufted, polypropylene turf and infilled with rounded sand and rubber granules.

It is an excellent and demonstrably successful surface for minimising injuries and offers the racing industry a softer, more durable surface

Stringent testing by external organisations and individuals has led to our product being widely acclaimed.

The German Standard (DIN 18035 Sports Grounds - Synthetic Surfacings) found significant increases in Force Reduction in direct relation to the rubber infill.

Dr. John Dunlop, School of Physics, University of NSW, said in a study that the rubber infill 'improves the shock absorption performance' 'products are at the upper levels or above specified using DIN 18035' and 'surface is similar to ... natural turf.'
